“Married Life is Sweet” Dolapo Oni-Sijuwade Quizzed on Love and Marriage

Dolapo Sijuwade recently had a chat with YNaija at the Lagos premiere of her first movie project; Diary of a Lagos Girl where she played the role of Bim, a materialistic, single Lagos girl in search of Mr Right.  When asked about her love and marriage, she quickly said, “Married life is sweet.”

When asked about challenges on acting in her first movie, the former Studio 57 host said “I have acted in dramas but the movie was all about having story for an elongated period of time although it wasn’t that different from shooting TV apart from it being from shooting to the cinemas took a year. It was interesting to wait this long to finally see the work on the big screen.”

She also gave some marital advice, "Before you get married you need to know yourself. It’s not about the age. You need to have experienced certain things. You need to decide what you want to do in life because it’s one thing to decide what you want to do before you meet someone and you now suddenly decide what you want to do. I think as a woman you need to know yourself inside and out before you can complement another human being.” 'she said.

Also on her plans for the year, she said, "I am working on more movie projects, TV series as I also just finished shooting the second season of my own show so the sky is the limit for 2016.
